Properties
UV absorber UV-531 is a high-efficiency anti-aging additive with excellent performance. It can absorb ultraviolet light at 240-340 nanometers. It is light color, non-toxic, good compatibility, small migration, and easy processing. It provides maximum protection to the polymer and helps to reduce luster while delaying yellowing and retarding loss of physical properties. It is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC, plexiglass, polypropylene fiber and ethylene vinyl acetate, etc. And for dry phenolic and alkyd varnishes, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and other air-drying products, as well as automotive refinish paints, powder coatings, polyurethanes, rubber products, etc., it provides them with good light stabilization effects. The dosage is 0.1%-0.5%.
Features
UV-531 provides low yellowing and good absorbance in the UV-B region. It also improves the failure of coatings resulting from exposure to sunlight including discoloration, cracking and loss of adhesion.
